Dementia Trust Breaks Down Barriers.

Dementia Charity Showcases Innovative Dementia Projects that will change the lives of people with dementia.

Reframing dementia

The Dementia Services Development Trust will hold a showcase event in Edinburgh on February 7th at the Quartermile HQ of Morton Fraser.

This event will show results from five exceptional projects undertaken by experts supported by people with dementia including

  • A comic book that looks at the challenges of travelling with dementia

  • The creation of model walking paths for people with dementia

  • The creation of a photography exhibition by people affected by dementia

  • A new video game that helps to explain dementia and tests knowledge

  • A daytime disco for people with dementia and young dancers

On that day, applications for funding for 2020 projects will open.
