Letter from the Chair.
This is my first letter since I took up the Chair of the Trust, and I’m glad to say that we are not losing Dr Logue who will continue to serve as a Trustee, still bringing his long experience of the voluntary sector and grant making to the table.
The Trust has got off to a good start in 2019 with the announcement of five successful applicants for Dementia Disruption awards (see details in the project section of the website). We are looking forward to seeing their progress, and will report it on the website.
March is the date for the launch of the film “We Need to Talk about Dementia” – which will also be available on the website with useful information and links. This film was made possible by a grant from the Trust to professional actors, writers and film makers who had been involved in previous disruption work.
I’d like to give special thanks to those who have raised money for the Trust and made donations over the last year, and hope that you will be impressed with the work that that has been possible because of your generosity. Improving the lives of people affected by dementia is at the heart of everything we do. Thanks again for your support.
Best wishes
